Hunt Club

After completing the series of events in Archades, talk to the Huntmaster at the Phon Coast Hunters' Camp, and he will offer to let you join the Hunt Club if you can prove yourself by completing one small task: track down a Thalassinon on the Vaddu Strand.

The Vaddu Strand is east of the Hunters' Camp, and the only way to spot the Thalassinon is to look for it from a high elevation. Go to the east end of the Vaddu Strand and climb the small ledge that overlooks the beach. Remain at the peak until the Thalassinon appears. Defeat it and return the "Shelled Trophy" to the Huntmaster.

The Huntmaster will order you to speak to one of the three brothers (formerly referred to as Shady Bangaas). Agree to hunt before speaking to the Huntmaster again.

The objective of this event is to find 30 rare, specific monsters located around Ivalice and defeat them. Upon doing so, they will drop a trophy which you can then trade to Atak, Stok and Blok to unlock items in the Shifty-Eyed Merchant's store. Unfortunately, since there are only 30 trophies total, it's impossible to unlock everything. In order to help you decide which items you want to work toward obtaining, refer to the lists below to determine which of the Bangaa you should trade the trophies to.

Depending on who you give the most trophies to, you will receive an additional reward after collecting and turning in all 30 trophies. If you give the most to Atak, you'll receive a "Greataxe." If you give the most to Blok, you'll receive a "Renewing Morion." If you give the most to Stok, you'll receive a "Sage's Ring."

Also, if you visit the Highgarden Terrace from time to time and talk to the Hunt Club Owner, he will reward you for finding the 30 rare monsters. However, the Highgarden Terrace is only accessible after you have earned a "Sandalwood Chop" from completing the Archades Information Exchange event.
