Axes & Hammers

Though they offer very high attack power, Axes & Hammers' damage variance is far less consistent than other weapons. For example, while a Sword may damage an enemy for 500 HP, an Axe or Hammer may damage that same enemy for a whopping 1,000 HP... or 40 HP! Thus, if you're looking for absolute consistency, Axes & Hammers are not the weapons for you.

For this class of weapons, the damage output is determined by your character's strength and vitality, the weapon's attack rating, and the enemy's defense. All Axes add 6 to evasion, while Hammers add 2 to evasion. Also, Axes attack slightly faster than Hammers.
